1998 Camaro Power Window Replacement help
Hi....I have a 98 Camaro and I believe the power window motor has gone dead since the window will no longer go up or down and it doesn't seem like it is getting any power. Is there a place on line where I could find a replacement guide to taking the door apart and replacing the motor? I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks! |

Re: 1998 Camaro Power Window Replacement help
well, first off, test the circuit, make sure that the window motor has both a power and ground. if its got both and still not moving, then replace the motor/regulator assembly. if it dosnt have power or ground, (or both) then find the break in the circuit and fix it. as for replacing the motor/regulator, it is a bitch, easy two hour, maybe three hour job. its riveted in place, the window has to be disconnected, and the whole assebly has to come out this little hole in the back of the door. i think it would be worth the money, to pay to have it done. thats just my two cents.
