Volkswagen Corrado

i want a CORRADO and may sell my crx and buy one is this a smart move for some one that likes to drag race thanks.......... ps.. are these thing good on the 1/4 after some mods....

They're not extremely fast at all, but I've always liked them for their rarity. I see one every 3 months or so where I live. I'm sure you can make them fast. Don't know whether it's RWD or not.

They arent really fast dude but they handle. FWD depending on what model you want G60 is a 4cyl supercharged engine and is uually cheaper. The Vr6 model has much greater potential but also cost more and cost more to upgrade. The vr6 was designed for the corrado and it is now volskwagens best engine that or the 1.8T but real racers would take a vr6. A good corrado will cost you around 7000 dollars and thats here in NY but a great one will of course cost more. Check out the corrado forum you should know where to find it.

A friend of mine uses hers for autocross. She does fairly well stock, even better since she's put on better tires. Otherwise, it's stock.
