2001+ Civic LX (d17a1) questions

I just noticed that Kamikaze is making headers for my 2002 civic LX. Anybody got them? If so, are you satisfied?

So far, i have an Injen CAI, HKS dragger exhaust, and i'm looking for some ideas regarding normally aspirated performance. Cam gear, pullies, TB, what have you guys done, and what would you recommend?

Don't worry, long term plans include body kit, rims, coilovers, racing seats, steering wheel, shifter, flywheel, and anything else i get a stiffy for.

thanks in advance

go to www.7thgencivic.com you will find all your answers for the 7th gens there. THE best mod i did to my 7th gen was the nitrous system. best bang for the buck.

the only header i recommend you dont get are the DC sports. They did some dynos on the 7th gens and only gained 1.4 hp. from what i hear. Look into getting the Apex VAFC-II I have heard people praising this thing. Im going to pick one up pretty soon. www.truehonda.com has some good stuff. As well as www.robearracing.com

probably 4-2-1, but i'll have to see. I know for my car, i'd benefit more with the 4-2-1.

the injen cold air runs from the TB, down through where the big black ugly airbox was, behind the battery, and behind the front bumper infront of the right wheel. It's a nice-looking CAI imo.

Re: 2001+ Civic LX (d17a1) questions

the aem cai goes the same path but its like right behind the left hand side edge of the radiator which i think sucks cause its probably pulling in heat given off by the radiator... is that even close to the injen or does the injen go further more to the right of the car in front of the wheel?

not until the speeding tickets from my youth fall off of my driving record. I couldn't afford the insurance on a supra. I checked!!
