What about sway bars?
Sorry, this is kind of a post from another thread.
I just got the SLP shock tower brace and installed the other day. Man you can really tell the difference with it installed  . I should have gotten one 11 years ago for my 93 Formula, for my 95 TA, for my 99 RA TA . My 2002 Ram Air is much more stable, less roll and much less slop when cornering. Very Tight! So I am not sure how much the lower control arms and/or the Panhardrod bar will buy me, seeing as they are in the rear end. I was also thinking about the subframe connectors (weld ons), but that will be a few more $$ then I may want to pay. So that brings me back to sway bars? Anyone have any thoughts on them? Will they help with the body roll and cornering? How do they compare to the other options (above or others). Thanks in advance for the info ![]() Jeff |

You read my mods in my sig and the car handles like its on rails. I still have yet to do sway bars or torque arm and I am VERY happy with the new corner carving ability.

Re: What about sway bars?
sway bars are very good for no top sway.control arms in the rear are for launching and panhard bars are for no wheel hop around turns at higher speeds. i put all of that on my 99 ta and subframe connectors and it handles like a F1 car. very nice but very ruff. if its your only car i wouldnt do it but if its not its alot of fun having it handle so nice.

Re: What about sway bars?
what do you have for springs and shocks?
i got springs shocks lca's phb stb sway bars do what they say they stop sway you will be able to put more g's in a corner and keep you tires planted on the ground sfc's (my next mod) will help everything in your car, even the little squeeks when you hit a bump you can launch harder and turn better a very very recommender mod

. Is that the case? I was not happy to hear that. I may have to go for springs and shocks at some point. I think I will get the SFC first though .Thanks, Jeff |

Re: What about sway bars?
check out thunderracing.com for springs. they have a good deal on lowering springs panhard bar and LCA relocator brackets. all that stuff you need to lower the car. if you have good shocks (not sure on your car) then dont mess with them.

Re: What about sway bars?
it helped the handling of my car alot but i had old springs shocks and everything else at the time. the factory does have a good idea but everything can be improved upon.
the kit only lowers it an inch and a half or so so its not even bad, but the car doesn't nose dive anymore when i slam on the brakes wich is a good thing and it has instant turn in when i move the wheel. i also did my lower control arms at the same time because i had alot of sway at really high speeds. and wheel hop when i got on it. they stopped it all. just a word of advice once you start with your car you wont stop so make sure you do research on the parts before you buy them. i know of alot of websites for everything so if you wanna read up on some stuff i can give them to you.

Re: What about sway bars?
The Ram Airs Do Have Bigger Sway Bars Than The Non Ram Airs. And Yes I Ment No Body Roll Same Thing. Eibachs Are Very Good. Its A Very Thick Bar I Think Its 32mm In The Front And 26 In The Rear Its A Fat Bar. Finally Got My Car Back This Weekend And It Handles Like A F1... I Love It
