d series tranny
i need to know what car a s40 tranny goes in. the tranny also have a p4a/a000 code stamped in it above the oil drain. i was told it came from a 99 civic. and i was to put it in my 93 with a 95 vtec in it. but i want to make sure everything is going to bolt up. u know axles and all the other stuff and when i get a clutch am i going to have to get one for this tranny now or for my engine. also what to make sure the gears are the same a 92-95 ex/si tranny. thx

its a d-series tranny, so it should bolt right up with any d-series motor. I think the would have the same spline counts, so your axles should bolt right up with it
