Re: make a 95 look like a 97-99

the only diff between the years are the front bumpers and the reverse lights on the rear. other than that i thought everything was pretty much the same........

Just the new headlights...I have a front bumper and rear bumper off a 98 RS if you are interested. PM me if you are.

Re: make a 95 look like a 97-99

you need to modify the front bumper. the 97-99 headlights won't fit it perfectly. you need a bumper and the headlights. you should be ok with the fenders though.

Fenders and hood are the same, just the lights and bumper. Just to clarify again. I'm doing this swap this week.

Re: make a 95 look like a 97-99

Yes, the headlights are a different shape, the 95s are "bigger." So if you dont swap the lights over the 97 bumper gets pushed out in the middle section between the lights and looks ridiculous. 95 bumper with 97 lights will leave big gaps at the edge of the lights, between the lights.

I got a nasty deal on the bumper and headlights (new). So I am doing the swap for more airflow to the 12" tall FMIC

on consumer guide http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/u...ex.cfm/id/2209
they say Facelifting included larger air intakes, more of a bulge in the front fascia and tail panel, reworked headlights, and revised lower-body cladding. Turbo coupes got a higher-profile rear spoiler.

anybody kno what the front fascia and tail panel is? when you put a 97 up to a 95 you can tell the difference in the quaterpannels

Re: make a 95 look like a 97-99

Front fascia is like the front bumper and fenders and the tail panels are just the quarter panels with a different name to confuse people.
