i found and older couple (maybe 40's or 50's)
that has a black 95 formula, has a 350 lt1
5 spd transmission. looks like it was a trans am
project. has trans am spoiler already painted black,
they have a 96 trans am nose and rear bumper to go
on it. the passenger side front has a little damage
its a clean car inside, leather and all power. bose
stereo w cd player. also has newer style firehawk wheels
the car has a little over 60,000 miles on it. been parked
since the accident in 1999.
taxes and everything was kept up on the car. they
was going to give it to thier grandson but are now
afraid he will be killed in it. and they are asking 2,500
they said it was well maintained. they are the original
owner. i really liked it but my friend thinks its a sheep
in wolves clothing. what should i do im in process
of checking the vin. to see what she is.

i know that this isnt a firebird forum but no one
is answering me.

well i did find out this car was the previous
home to a 3.4 v6.......its just a firebird.
but everything looked perfectly done. the
grandson said that the car does have the
ws6 performance package he installed it
himself. 4 wheel disc brakes. the motor
and tranny camne from a 96 trans am that
had been rear ended. he put the 2500 into it
fixing it up. used the wiring harness and computer
and he says its not a hack job. i started the car
it fired up at the turn of the key. no smoke,
smooth idle. firehawk wheels. for 2,500

i would say that its prolly a good deal, you never know about that swap though. pretty much boils down to do you trust the guy's work on the swap and are you willing to fix whatever damage it has...

well im going to go back and see if they'll
let me drive it. then i'll be able to tell if its
been done right. " and i will put it to my special
little test" im going to find me a curvey road
and im going to hammer down. i had a 87 gta
and sold it to my uncle, who is going to use
it as a race car. he gave me $9,000 for it
has a 383 stroker in it 350 turbo transmission with shift kit, i had 3 years worth work in it and
about $7,500 invested. it was time to say
goodbye but with $9000 i can really do some
damge with that 95 firebird
