To All Who Want Turbo 4 Cavalier

hello all!! i thought i might inlighten all you cavalier owners how putting a turbo in your car and what you will need and how much. it's going to be a long hard road and plenty of green$$$$$ well not too much like most places will charge you. anyway to the point. anyone and everyone who is young and has a car wants more hp, right? of course we do!! and to all the domestic owners, wouldn't you like to be at the redline next to an import (instead of watching) and being able to smoke the shit out of them?! well there is a God and I'm here to help make it real. the parts you will need will be listed(now this also depends on how much hp you are looking to get out of ur cav. too) for starters with small amounts of cash to throw around, here is a list. to all others who want high hp applications just write.

1:Turbo
2:custom turbo exhaust manifold
3:front mount or side mount intercooler
4:custom turbo piping kit(easy way to do this is to go to ur local hardware store and buy a bunch of pvc pipe. fit it to turbo and intercooler and intake manifold, then take the completed pvc piping to local or custom exhaust shop and have them make a better piping kit out of mandrel pipe or whatever you can afford)
5:blow off valve
6:buy some stainless steel braided tubing-run it from turbo to oil pan-you will have to tap into the oil pan because it's not a turbo oil pan, then you will need fittings for both ends. also since you will be taking off the oil pan to tap it, you will also need a new oil pan gasket-always try and get upgraded parts
7:190 to 255lph fuel pump
8:injectors-450cc and up
9:boost gauge+boost pod
10:oil pressure gauge
11:new gasket for exhaust manifold-not the same try and get an upgraded one
12:may need upgraded fuel pressure regulator
13:bigger and better exhaust-if you can get away with it try and get a full straight back-no cat exhaust system
I think that is everything, but i may have forgot a thing or 2 so if you have any ??s just write back. if you want prices just ask too. your best bet for most of it is ebay though. that would be the cheapest yet better way to go. hope all of you take this advice and turn some caves into some street racing machines.

Hmm... Seems you forgot the forged pistons, rods, crank, heavier mains, high volume oil pump/filter, air/fuel remaps, timing remaps, (and prolly a laundry list of other mods to make it all work right-by the time ya get done, ya might's well just buy a turbo motor and drop it in. But hey, to each his own.

you only have to do the piston, rods, crank, heavier mains, i believe i added the oil pump-but if not aftermarket oil pump and others if you run more than 10 psi. and remember- this is a way for those who don't have $2000 or more to do a turbo kit. this is strictly for those who have small amounts of cash to work with. later down the road they can always do internals to get more hp, everything they need will be there, just the swap of internals and fuel lines and so on.

Uh-huh. As the chief hood-lifter says: "Ya can pay me now, or you can pay me later."

Ya get what ya pay for-and if ya don't do it right the first time-what's the point? When the half-assed mods break something-ya still gotta end up spending the bread to do it right-only for the second time around.
