whyyyy????

whyyyy is my transmission still stuck in 3rd fail safe. its a 91 eclipse gs automatic. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE WIRING SCEMATICS FOR THE SHIFT SELONOIDS I NEED THEM TO CHECK THEM OUT AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????

I don't know off-hand, but I'm sure your Chiltons manual or Haynes manual would have them.

ahhhhhhh CHILTON SUCKS I HAVE IT IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE TRANS Except how to take it out!! aAHHHHHHHHHH

i must of disconnected the battery 20 times i have a rebuilt transmission i had my gf father do it he's a professional in rebuilding transmissions(thats his job) he told me to try to get info on the seloinoids how to test them becuz he does not know off hand and he cant find his book.

i also replaced the tcu(transmission control unit) becuz mine was fualty still doesnt work (i got it off ebay dont really know if it's good)

i tested all the wiring to the computer from the transmission its all good

still stuck in limp mode

im starting to hate this DSM grrrrrrrrr

hey quit the AAAHHHH shit!!! i dont want to read it and i know no one else does! now how are you disconnecting the battery? try it again... disconnect the GROUND ONLY!!! leave the positive connected and let it sit for a good 15mins... then go back and connect it again and if it still does it, the best way to figure it out is call or take it to the dealership!

Did you try checking the sensors?

A buddy of mine had the same type of problem with his talon and he came to find out that he had a bad sensor. Once replaced the problem stopped. I will find out what sensor it was he replaced and post it shortly.
