monsoon radio edit

this one is complicated.... i have a new pon grand am gt 2004 with a monsoon stock radio. i want to install a box with 2 subs and one 600w amp, im aware there is already a amp in the drivers side trunk but i need the proper specs to get this radio installed. i need a seperate 12v for the amp and there needs to be a connection to the rf,rd and lf,lb channels the rest may be left allone. if there is a wireing diagram i can use that would be helpfull.

Re: monsoon radio edit

Wire the new amp seperate , if your gonna use a inline speaker wire for rca signals to the amp for the subs then use the speaker wire before goin to the monsoon amp and make sure its the low ohm wire your using , you dont want highs for bass, the 12 volt could be straight from the battery or empty/aux fuse holder on the + then use a switch inline with the 12 volt wire so you can turn the amps on and off , thats since you dont have a remote on that monsoon deck that way you dont have to take a chance damaging the deck.

It means "take it to a proffesional and pay the $50.00 bucks to have it done right."
