Re: have you ever...

Haven't signed my eyebrows off...but slave took some cool pics!! This was taken the weekend slave arrived...I wasn't starting the grille, I was cooking boerewors (Saffie sausage, kinda like bratwurst.) This particular one was EXTREMELY fatty and was pissing fat everywhere, setting everything on fire. It was great.

Fire is cool.

I lost both eyebrows to a turbocharged lighter once.

Re: have you ever...

I've actually used a lighter to look into a flooded carb ..... same hairless face, same smell.

Also heated a rear brake cylinder to break loose the bolts. The line was pinched off at the rear.... pressure built up and..... BOOM!! Little tiny pieces of brake cylinder inards were strewn about my face and the garage floor, along with 400 degree F + brake fluid spashing across my head (good thing I ducked). Once we put the flames out, the skin on my chin was very loose and fragile. Again, same hairless face, same smell.

Needless to say, I have a new found respect for feul and fire

I've got a few more stupid stories like that, but I'll save them for later.

Re: Re: have you ever...

My friend singed the tip of his nose to a nice, deep red while attempting to knock back a flaming shot while drunk. He was probably sipping away at it rather than downing it as he wouldnt have burnt himself if he'd downed it. Wish i could have been there to witness it, but the effects were visible for several weeks and provided much entertainment..

ahhh... idiot friends are priceless

Re: have you ever...

I remember years ago I thought I'd be clever by filling my mouth with gas from a lighter then blowing it. Yes there was a flame, and yes, I didn't blow it out fast enough, so I burnt my lip. GG.

I've done some silly things while drunk (and sober) but I probably shouldn't share...

Re: have you ever...

Back when I was in 5th grade I was playing with my older sisters adjustable lighter, leaving it turned up, when she went to light her smoke a 6" flame lit her bangs on fire Needless to say all the hairspray she used to use didnt help. It took forever for her hair to grow back. I still to this day find it funny being the only boy with 5 sisters.

Re: have you ever...

I had a huge hangover the next day (sunday april 25th i think) and i was bed-ridden that day until about 2:30pm, i got up and made me a BBQ breakfast, steak, bacon, egg...Watched a movie, then went back to bed..

All the coldies are mine (there are 16 in that pic i think, maybe more) i had them in one night, they are 1.4% alc
That translates to 22.4 standard drinks, w00t!

Re: have you ever...

ops, i mean 1.4 standard drinks *hits head*
I think Oz is right...

Hahn premo light is 0.8 standard drinks, 2.7% i think...I drink that, but only to enjoy the taste

The Carlton Draught is 1.6 standard drinks, that's nice.

That pic that I posted, just hind where I was standing is a BBQ that got very good use over a 4 day period, last sunday, i was helping cook dinner and to turn it on, you have to push this knob thing in, and turn it anti-clock wise to ignite it, well, one of my mates did just that, but it didn't ignite, so i walk over wondering why the bacon isn't cooking, figured it out, so i turn it off, and just as i push it in, steven turned the grill on to 'high', then i ignited it, and BOOM! Fire comes out from ever nook and crannie (crack and hole) the BBQ has, and i shinged all of my left arm hairs, and stevens arm hairs.
