What is the stock rear end for a 1991 Caprice Wagon L03

Does anybody know what the stock rear end for a 1991 Caprice wagon with an L03 is? I've read places that its a 2.73 and in other places that its a 3.08.

I'm a student and I've saved up some cash and I want to swap the rear end for a 3.73. I do a fair amount of highway driving and I want more passing power at like 60mph. I know the 3.73 will hurt mileage but I don't care about that. I'm just sick of the car not being able to get out of its own way on the highway. I'd also like more off the line oomph so I don't keep getting embarrased by my friends with little 4-banger saturns and escorts. Do you guys think I'll get better performance with the 3.73s?
