"Cold Front Intake System
Arospeed Cold Front Intake Systems are designed to be mounted in the front of the vehicle, allowing cool, clean air to enter the intake system. Each intake system features a removable Lexan windows, which helps protect the filter element from hazards, however, during race situations, it can be easily removed, providing the car with a complete and direct source of air. arospeed is about 1 notch above APC....which means ricer stuff. in theory thats a cool idea, but id play it safe with an AEM CAI

an air intake designed and aimed specifically towards the ricer. you have got to love how aftermarket parts manufacturer's have capitalized on peoples stupidity.

first off just let me say dont be that guy.

second off where the hell does it matter where you get cold air? in the fenderwall or in the airdam?

the only reason i could see for this being created is to
a. appease the ricer's and give them the intercooler look
b. have shit rip holes in the element so shit can be engulfed into your engine
c. place it in front of the radiator so it reduces airflow into the fins
d. attempt to make the most inefficient air intake in history.

its just to sad every one of those reasons are bad

if someone gave me one of these i would light it on fire and continue to use my stock intake.

a little water is not going to do anything, but if the filter is submerged, your engine will most likely be destroyed. Arospeeds intake is useless, they put a plexiglass cover over the filter to keep the water out which is useless because air can't get in either.

Horsepower TV on TNN used this on their civic, they also used Airmass stuff on the Civic which rode on 13" factory wheels with chrome hubcaps
