Re: 1991 keyless remote

Mine had a factory install keyless remote and alarm. Instead of buying another Factory keyless entry, i went to HH GREGG (similar to Best Buy) and bought a remote start system, this came with 2 controllers and they wired it into my existing power door locks and alarm. I got a great deal on it, but instead of $80-$100 for 1 more keyless controller, for the same price i got 2 new controllers, and a remote start.

Try Ebay. If not, check locally for an aftermarket keyless. They are usually about $130 installed with 2 remotes.

Re: 1991 keyless remote

I bought an Audiovox unit at my local AutoZone for under $50. It came with 2 remotes and supports keyless entry, interior lights, trunk release, horn chirp, and will also support remote starting and 1 other programmable operation. I didn't wire up everything, just the keyless entry with the horn chirp and light flash.

Once I figured out what wire in the harness I had to patch into, it was a pretty easy install.
