Need help to identify this exhaust muffler...

I wanted a dual muffler for my 96 Camaro stock exhaust. I bought this dual muffler from my friend, who claim that it came off a newer model Z28. I had put some pics up, and though I know it is pretty hard just to judge the orgin of the muffler by looking at it, I will greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out. It does have a a GM part no. (see pics). If anyone have info about this, please let me know. Actually I do have qualms about fixing this to a V6. So I may sell this after all. But whatever info you guys can provide, it will be most helpful! Thanks a million!

Muffler measures about 26.75" long, 11.25" wide and 5.5" thick (between the 2 flat ends). And yes, it is welded with in some areas.

Please help by going to this link:
