Re: Who here has this

I've heard it on my friend truck, it sounds good, but like regualr radio you end up changing the channel every song looking for somethign acceptable.

quality is great! but its a connection or not system, in other words, there is no partial connection so if you live in a bad area it could really suck

Re: Who here has this

You just have to find the right channel for you. Where would there be a bad area for reception, if you live in the country you can get a clear view of the sky, and if you live in a major city they have ground repeatersso you never lose the signal. I have XM radio and I can't live without, no commercials, 68 music channels all for less than the price of a new CD.

Re: Who here has this

i have xm its cool alot of good songs that local stations cant play...hip hop/rap/hard core rock...but there is good variaty and not many commercials, although if youre thinking about getting it still, i would check out sirius radio also, expecially if you like sports...they signed agreement with nfl to carry games and they have more sattelites so...more area of coverage and they will be able to stream video in the future....

Re: Who here has this

All music channels are commercial free and all the talk and sports station only have about 5 - 8minutes worth of commercials per hour, all for $3 less than sirius, not to mention that XM has more staying power because of the bigger amount of subscriptions that they have to there service. The ONLY reason that sirius is better is because they have better sports programming. I have listened to Sirius also and there music channels seem to get very repetitive over time.
