interior is the same

Although seeing many 95-96 it seems to me perhaps the passenger side airbag fits slightly better than the 97-99. Again from what I've seen the 97-99 ones seem to have that cover sticking out ever so slightly, but lol other than that nothing really.

And yeah I'm in the same type of situation! Have a 97 w/ 6 10" subs and will be transporting it to a 95 model as well.

Well it's not really much of a downgrade to begin with. Since the car I'm buying looks exactly like a 97-99 model, except it's cleaner than most and with less milage.

But the real reason is because it's an GSX vs my RS.

Re: diff between 95 and 97

Most 95's came with the eprom ecu, easiest way to find out is to take a look. I believe I read somewhere that even though it may say it on the cover of the ecu, it still may not be, open it up and take a look, I believe in the faq it tells you how to tell the difference. Be carefull not to strip the screws on the housing, I dont know why the torque those things down so much...

E is the big thing at the bottem, some have "T"
thier are 8 diffrent ecu's from the 95 dsm that will work. those are the only 2 i know off hand.

i kno the headlights are different from 95-96 to 97-99 but do you guys know if they share the same bolt pattern. i mean can i just swap some 97 headlights into a 95 with no fabricatoin? im gonan buy this nx widebody kit that includes new fenders and quater pannels so i think the outside will look like a beefed up 97 basically. the hatch on the 2 models is the same right? i kno the body doesnt have as much of a curve look in the 95 and 96 where as the 97-99 had more curves in the rare quater pannels.

the nx kit is on www.bodykits.com
