MSD distributor

im just curious...i forked over a good $385 on a pro billet HEI distributor for my IROC. is this mod really worth the money? i hear about MSD all the time so now that it is time for me to drop a new engine in i figured id look into it. any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. thank you

you just wasted 400 dollars. all that is is a replacement distributor for people with show cars and more money than brains. the box and coil would be a power upgrade but the distributor is just for looks.

Woah!! Don't take it back just yet. That is a good distributor, alot better than your stock one. The box and coil will deffinetely be your power high spot, but they all work together for good performance. I've got the 6al ingnition with the hei distributor. You can really feel the difference at high rpm's!
