Why don't you just buy them and paint them yourself? Or have a shop paint them?

Everything has to be perfect on my car no cheap alternatives

I wouldn't say buying a new emblem and grille, then having them custom painted a cheap alternative!

You should paint them yourself, because I can guarantee that you will be asking for those things forever .

I don't think it's a "cheap alternative". The point of mods is to come up with ideas and such yourself - so if you paint your emblems black, that's a modification that you have made. I don't see the difference between yourself painting the emblems or someone else doing it. G was right, I guess it would be a cheap alternative if someone else custom painted them .

You could always have them plated black chrome.

Black chrome looks 100 times better than painted no mater how good you paint it
Painting is out of the question first you have to remove or prep the chrome for paint, than paint it and it WILL look BAD. Before I would even consider paint I'd just buy a 2002 black sport grille but I like my grille I just want it black

My grille is painted black, and it looks really sharp. Not much prep, just sand down your peices, prime them and paint them.

Yea, you know how they have chrome and gold plating machines.. Why don't you just find one that can do "black chrome"? I think that would look much better than painting.
