Okay, we all have them. Some of us don't. Some have too many. Others can't get enough.

My question that I pose to everyone is this, and please feel free to express yourself as you see fit. Just no flaming and sure as hell, no mothafuckin' whoring this thread.

Do you trust your friend(s) 100%. If you do, and they betray you(worst case scenario), do you cut them off and not trust anyone else including other friends? Do you exercise better judgement and not trust them fully?

I don't trust anybody 100% . . .

Just my little phuq'd up twist on life . . .

As an example, I trust that my mother always has my best interests at heart when she gives me advice . . . however, I recognize that sometimes that advice comes from the angle of someone who has been through some different experiences in life and may not produce the result that I desire, and for which I seek her advice in the first place. So, I don't trust that everything my mother says is best . . . I do trust that she intends it to be.

Friends . . . hmph . . . they're just strangers that happen to know a lot of schitt about you. What reason do they have to give you 100% allegiance? Because you're nice to them? Because they can trust you 100%? Because you could have phuq'd their g/f and didn't? Because you have a lot of money?

You can't even be sure why some people are your friends to begin with . . .

Besides that, people on a regular basis do things to hurt us some times unintentionally. Like I mentioned in the outset of my post.

I trust my friend LA to do whatever I need him to do, as long as he has the time/resources, etc. However, I know LA has a problem, he can't shut up sometimes . . . he talks too much, and doesn't realize that some people don't need to know certain things. Because of that I can't tell him a lot . . . he'll phuq around and tell the wrong person . . .

I trust most people in my life about 80% . . .

I don't trust anybody, but two of my friends would be about 95%. They're the type of guys you'd just trust cause they are synonomous? with betrayal or being assholes. Others however, I wouldn't trust with a toothpick. My friends are kinda like "rings" I got one close and then a group of about 6 and then another group of like 20, etc, then you guys who I don't even know.

i trust a lot of my friends with a lot of stuff, but some of them i know will just go home and cry to mommy the blatchy is selling warez.

I trust my best friend 100%. I'm a guy, she's a girl...which I think makes for the best plutonic relationships. I would trust her with anything, and I'm sure she'd do the same.

But, I don't trust anyone else 100%.

well i dont trust any of my friends 100% .....i've had a so called friend steal $20 dollars from me ...and things like that make me not wanna trust anyone ...i really dont call many people my best friend i can call someone my good friend b/c i think theirs a differance in the two . Good friends know alot about each other and stuff i might trust them with little things and build up from that and im real cautious about people . Now best friends are the people that i can trust about 95-99% ...like i said i've had so called "FRIENDS" steal from me and shit and i wanted to beat the living $%@ out of them but i stopped my self from doing that , Also theres alot of mean and nasty people out there i would say that 75% of the people in this world are like that ....i just had a little experience with people and so far ....i trust no one but my family and maybe one or two other people in my life .

Lucky it was only 20 bucks. I had some "friends" who owned a shop out here. I was like, sweet, Ill keep it real, and pay them to work on my civic. Bad idea. I forked over 2500 smackers to get my new motor and some other goods done. Well...I turned my car in to them in June, and I finally had to tow it home in August. They closed the shop down, stripped my car of all they could get, like my intake, swapped my suspension with stock springs and shocks. I had tokico blues, and Suspension Tech springs, and sway bars. Took my stereo, tried to get my seats, and even tried to jack my body kit. I kind of made out in the end however. The landlord couldnt get ahold of them to have them clear out the shop, so.. He called me I did get a brand new chest high sears tool box full of tools. A floor jack, a pleather couch set and a bunch of engine manuals, magazines, manifolds, a set of stock cams and gears. I also took them to court and got a $2500 settlement. Which took a year and a half to get back. Oh, I also got a motor out of them. He tried to give me a D16 motor, and said it was a b18, bunch of fuck heads. Oh well.. Thats why I cant totally trust "friends" anymore. Except one or two. Well...not the ones who drive neons though

Yeah, that girl is a completely plutonic friend. But, I must say that I don't trust my girlfriend of 3+ years completely. I trust her on all of the important stuff (not to cheat...she never would....not to steal...duh). But, she knows I don't like her to miss class or drink....and sometimes I've found out that she has! Once with drinking, and plenty of times with classes. Luckily, that was the only time she's drank since we've been together, and the class thing is just a little thing. She's not worried to tell me, and I really don't care much.

I blame my non-100% trust due to my own insecurity, not my friend's behaviour.

Part of the reason I'd get married would be wether or not I trusted that person 100%. It will be a long process for me.

I agree with the last few posts . . .

I know I have the potential to trust people 100%. In fact, I'd like to . . . it'd make schitt a hell of a lot easier, ya know . . .

I could tell anybody anything . . . it just doesn't work that way right now . . .

My g/f on the other hand, I want to say I trust her 100%, and when I feel like I do, marriage is the next step. It's been a rocky rooooad, the road is so rough . . . rocky rooooad, the road is so rough . . . (sorry, song in my head) . . .

Anyway, most of the distrust is due to my own dysfunction . . . at least I'd like to think so, cause like I said . . . I trust NO ONE 100% . . . just not safe . . .

I have a friend that I call my best friend, cause that's what he calls me . . . but he'll never be able to actually have that spot in my life . . . there's this chick I dealt with off and on over the past year or so, and whenever he had a chance, like at a party, he'd try to get with her . . . she tells me, but he doesn't know that I know . . .

that's a best friend for ya!
