Are black headlight covers(and taillights) ileagal in cali or not? i dont want to get a "fix it" ticket.

not sure about CA but i know as long as you don't have them on when your lights are on , cops won't mess with ya most of the time , but i would call and check first

yup yup at night they are illegal during the day doesnt matter - just get the JDM look black lights those are legal - and to beat ur tickets just take pics of the car with out the covers tell the judge you took them off i never got a ticket doing that with my stang

in the night how do the lights look when the lights are on will they look dim with the covers on???

ahhhhh dimmer it is noticable one way to beat that would be to purchase the sylvania hyper white bulbs those are mad bright which will make the covers not appear as noticable---also having fogs on the car is good to

Probably the box will say, "For Offroad Use Only" like most performance/custom parts.
