Door locks and latch lock troubles

97 Cherokee.
Just repaired a faultly rear-passenger door lock, only to have the rear hatch lock break. How do I lubicate these locks so it won't happened to the others? Also, what is the method to get to the rear-locked latch so that I can un-locked and repair it. Do I get into the lock by breaking the from the outside, or try to removed the panel from the inside? The key freely turns, but doesn't seem to be connected to anything. Is there a drawing that shows what the door looks like with the panel removed?
