Interior door handle Camry 95

I bought a replacement interior handle for my Camry, but I can't get the old assembly off the door. Before I do any cosmetic damage to the door, I'd like to know how to get in there and replace the part.

Are you talking about removing the inner door panel to access the inner door handle for removal? What exactly is broken on it? What are the specs with your car? Does it have power windows, power mirrors, etc? This will help me help you better...

I was hoping that I could replace the door handle without removing the entire door panel. Yes, it is a 95 camry with power windows and power doorlocks.

I found out that you do have to completely remove the door panel in order to access the mounting bolts for the door handle. I was originally going to send you the link from carstereohelp.com, but the retards took the instructions off of the site and make you pay for them now, when they were free before. So I really can't advice you any further unless I can find some instructions on removing your door panel, since I'm not too familiar with the older Camry doors.

1. Pry off inside handle bezel with taped screwdriver (bottom rear of bezel is key clip). Pull it rearward to remove it.

2. Remove door trim. Remove two clips on rear of door. Remove 4 screw caps and tweeter cover with taped screwdriver. Remove 6 screws. Pry off door trim with screwdriver. Pull trim upward to remove it then disconnect electrical connector.

3. Remove door inside handle. Disconnect two links then remove 3 screws.
