87 supra mods
Hey im new to supras and i have been looking for quick and easy engine mods for it. I am currently looking for an intake system. If anyone knows where i can find a good intake under $250for my car, please help. Also i was wondering if anyone knew any good sites that have other mods for my car.

Re: 87 supra mods
Definetly the Apexi, then K&N, just don't get the HKS mega crap (mega flow foam mushroom). I'd get it from SS (SupraSport.com) though, excelent service and its the MKIII devoted store.

Re: 87 supra mods
i'm always thinking of this question, aren't intakes almost all the same? isn't a custom adapter and a universal air filter pretty much the same as a 250 dollar name brand unit? i know some filters better than others, but other than that, aren't they the same?

Re: 87 supra mods
Well there are some differences besides the fact that some filter much better than others. Some are washable/reusable, some will last you a lot longer than a $20 ebay filter, and some you know you get what you pay for. Don't cheap out on a filter, it's the first and only thing stopping everything in the air from going into your engine and trashing it. $250 is a small price to pay for the extra security of knowing nothing is getting in the engine, think of it as getting a MHG vs. a Composite HG.
