Re: motor specs

15? jebus.. I remember when my parents gave me their '89 Civic and I was just happy to be able to roll around and smoke weed instead of hiding in my room. Now kids are talking about honda engine swaps when they get their first cars? scary..

Well, that's probably a good place to start then. Get a job and earn some money first, otherwise you'll be on a quick track to doing absolutly nothing.

LISTEN CAREFULLY

Since you're young, you can have all the advantages that the rest of us didn't have. I got a job when I was 15 and I wasted all my fucking money on a stupid girlfriend who I ended up dumping 17 months later. With the money I spent on her, I could have had a fully built H22A swap in my Accord. Plus, I spent another 1300 on a stupid AR-15 which has sat in the closet since I bought it, and I could have had a really nice set of Volk rims with that money.

Point is:

-Get a job now, as soon as you can, best paying as possible, work as often as school allows. Don't worry about how you look in high school, because if you save up now, you'll have the best damn car on campus when you get to college. Also, high school is a breeze compared to college so you have plenty of time to work right now, and you don't have to pay rent (which is $300-$600 a month!).

-Do your research! Find out what is cool, what performs, and what's worth your money. Have in mind exactly what you want to buy, and don't settle for anything less than the best. Read as many articles as you can on the internet about everything possible so when you're 18 and have saved up all that money, you'll know exactly what to do with it, and if anyone asks you a question, you'll know the answer right off the bat.

-Once you know your stuff, do everything yourself. This means major respect from anyone in the car community.

-Avoid anything with altezza attached to it unless you own an IS300.

Re: motor specs

M16's/AR-15's suck. I'm in the Army and have to shoot those stupid bb guns twice a year, and they're inaccurate, unreliable pieces of shit. A few specs of dirt will cause a jam.[/threadjack]

Re: motor specs

Yea i know they suck i'm much happier with my old bolts the might not spray as much ammo but hit harder longer and dear god the things that happened to them.

I still want a auto rifle thats why i want one and if you put aftermarket stuff on them they dont suck too much.

Edit*mega thread jacking hurrr*

It is a poor magician that blames his wand

I can accurately hit 400m targets consistantly without a scope with mine But ya, a nice 7.62 would be better anyday of the weak, and also you have to think about the lowest bidder thing. Not all AR15/M16's are over produced Colts also. If he bought a civilian model it is more than likely something like a Bushmaster for that price, and is probably a decent weapon.

Re: motor specs
