Do-it-yourself A/C recharge

anyone had any experience with the kits that are out now. It looks easy enough, but I wondered if anyone out there has tried them on their blazer?

Re: Do-it-yourself A/C recharge

Tried it on the wife's Cirrus. not that bad, but by one of the better sets with the gauges, and buy more coolant than you think you will need. I bought the 11 oz kit, and it is still a little warm, should have bought the 19 oz one. Now I gotta go buy another can and waste some of it. Bye bye ozone layer
