newbie here with a few questions...

hi, i just recently purchased a 03 tiburon gt 6spd with 19000 miles for 8700. i got a gd deal because it was a flood car. But you cant even tell. no water damage anywhere. It is silver with blk leather. It had a injen intake. I just put gunmetal 5zigens copse on it. I also put a sr stainless steel exhaust. I was just wondering how much hp that gave me. I dont know much about cars but i think they are good choices. I also bought a chip off of ebay for cheap. its a z1 mod. anyone know about them? It says to hook it up to the 2 wires that come out of the intake, but when i sliced the tube open there are 3 wires in there and am not sure which 1's to connect it too. any help would be appreciated. I will be taking pics if anyone wants to see it let me know. I also would really like to start saving for a sc or turbo but i drive an hr to work and need it to be a daily driver. what all would i need to get it to around 240hp and what would the cost be? Im not sure where i stand now. Im just tired of getting picked on by all these guys with civics, eclipses and my gfs ex who has a srt4. that really sucks. all help would be greatly appreciated. sorry for such a long 1st post. thanks again

Invest in a supercharger or turbo set up. Then some small bolt ons should get you somewhere around 240. I've found most ebay buys don't do what they advertise.

dont get the chip. it is nothing but a 1 cent resitor i could send you that may give you a little power, but that will hurt your engine in the long run. if you wanna know exactly why, post back and i will tell you, but i dont fell like explaining it all now.
