What Would be the Horse Power Gain If I ......
IF I took a Stock 1993 1.8L Talon Head, (95 Horse Stock) had it shaved 30 thousandths, Port and Polished, A compitetion valve job done and new springs to prevent floating the valves. How many horse, in your opinion do I stand to gain.

ahh an inmature redneck! You should appreciate a car for what it is. But wait a minute, the little four cylinder boys can produce just as much horse and go just as fast as "the american muscle" with half the engine! By the way, look at the forum you are in. Eagle Talon's are made by Chrysler, rolled off the lines in Ill. Last time I checked that was still in the good ole USA!

Anyway to answer the question, 1st GenRocks is right. You would probably have to ask your machine shop.

why would you put al of that money in a nonturbo talon? However much you're spending plus if you sold the old car i'm sure you could find a tsi or tsi awd and that would be a gain of 95 horsepower which i'm sure is more than you will get out of the nonturbo.

I'm Putting The Money In This Car Because It Is A Round Track Race Car (dirt) And We Have Certain Rules To Go By We Have To Stay Below Tewlve Vavles And No Turbo Charged Motors, If You Guys Know Of Any 12 Or 8 Valve Motors With Good Horsepower, Please Let Me Know.

if you want to buy a 93 1.8 i have one ill sell ya it just needs the engine put back together. it threw a balance shaft bearing and i pulled it all apart then did have the money to get new bearings and seals and everything. another thing to do is pull the balance shafts it give you a couple horses
