best air induction
Ok i have a 99 prelude and recently got a cold air intake for it. I wanted to get a aem but the only shop here where i live didn't carry aem so i bought another that they told me was just as good. Anyway the pipe on this intake seems pretty big and is bigger than the diameter of the throttle body and i was just wondering is it true that smaller pipe in diameter with a bigger filter would help you gain more air flow since theoretically the air would be moving faster?

Also just wondering if anyone knows how these front mount intakes work and if it would be worthwhile to get one, they look cool and seems that they would really get some good air into ur engine but they may just look good. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

filter size doesnt really matter, theyre all around the same size... but i wouldnt go out looking for a tiny filter. and do not get that front mount intake, its a buncha ricer shit... im sure the cai you got is fine. btw, what is the diameter of the intake you got? and if you live in CA you might want to make sure the intake you did get came with a carb sticker.

if you were looking for an AEM one and couldn't find it in a local store, ebay has some resellers that are selling AEM CAIs
