blowoff valve
hey,
im kinda new at this whole car business, but u know the tubes that go to the turbo i presume, that the blowoff valve will attach 2, well does anyone know wut they are made of in a 94 VR-4? the guy at the speed shop told me that it makes a difference in price and stuff what there made out of? |

and they are metal in some places, and rubber in others. |

no, its not in rockford, its just a regular speed shop, called Acosta Motor Sports, up here in northern jersey where i live.

is a blowoff valve really nessacary? and arent there 2 different kinds one for the exhust and a kind for something else?

Blow off valve is already on your car stock...its a closed atmosphere one. It is necessary if you have turbos..as it releases pressure from the turbos that surges when you are hard on the throttle and then let off to decelerate or shift. The BOV vents this air surge out and keeps your turbos safe. An aftermarket BOV isn't necessary until you start running more than 14.5psi or upgrade your turbos.
