Hatchback weights?

How much does a 1991 hatchback suppose to weigh? I weighed my car and it was 2385lbs with me in the car, 1/4 gas, no pass. seat and sub. I think thats alot! Probably a little over 2400lbs with seat in the car.

Believe it or not the Helms manual does not tell me the regular weight of the car, just the ""Gross" weight. Does anyone here know?

I weighed mine a few years ago & it was a little over 2200 lbs - with the stereo, but without me sitting in it. I can't remember if I had the kit on the car when I weighed it, but it probably wouldn't make much difference.

Re: Hatchback weights?

If I ever weigh my car I am definately doing it without me in the car. I dont need the number to 3,000lbs, lol. Well that is a lil over exageration but u get the point

When I weighed my STD hatch with no rear seat.. the crummy carpet ripped out and all sound densing material and 2000 SI rims it weighed 1932 with 1/8 of a tank. Hey i was damn pleased it was under a ton
