How do i replace the gauge lights?
The lights on my speedometer/odometer gauges burnt out so basically at night I can't see how fast i'm goin or how much fuel I have or anything. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could replace the lightbulb myself if u could help me out that'd be great. I just need to know how I'd go about getting access to the lightbulb itself. I'm not sure how to get that panel and stuff out... thanks

Re: How do i replace the gauge lights?
If all went out at the same time I'd check the fuse & wiring. What year?

Its a 94 I checked the fuse and its fine. Before the lights went out they were really really dim and now they just aren't working at all.

Re: How do i replace the gauge lights?
If the other lights are working then it's probably the bulb over that gauge. You will need to remove the instrument cluster to get at it. The trim panel & various switches has to be pulled, then the speedo is held in by four screws. Before pulling it out you have to reach behind & remove the speedo cable & electrical connector. The bulbs are held in with twist lock plastic holders. It can be tedious the first time you learn to do it.
