Thumbs up S2000 Tailight Conversions

I want to go creative on my accord. Money is not an issue, so im asking for everyones input. Does any know if it is possible to convert the back of my accord tailights to those of the s2000 tailights. I love the way the tail lights of the s2000 looks, and i thought it would be so creepy if someone rolls up behind me thinkin its an s2000 and it turns out to be an accord. Wat do u guys think?

If money isn't an issue then get in your car and drive your happy little ass down to the most reputable shop in your area and tell them what you want.

you will only fool people who don't know much about cars. I can spot if they did taillight mods from a mile away.

From Accords with the rear Lexus IS300 altezza tail lights, inner red round trunk light conversion with the blue paint and antenna, with bodykit, and even door handle conversion. Some people get fooled, but I can tell it ain't no Lexus.

I just think that with the money they spent making it look like another car, they could have made a down payment on the real Lexus.

Be real, use the money for real performance mods that add real horsepower, however if you only into show car events instead of racing events, then go ahead and make it different.

Umm....most people don't do conversions to try and fool people into thinking they have a different kind of car.....

Re: S2000 Tailight Conversions

some people do, but not all.

they have ferrari kits for toyota MR2
widebody kits for a lot of cars to look like race car

JDM bumper/light conversions, but it's still a USDM.

Vtec emblems on Stock LS/GS integras with stock engines.
Vtec emblems on american/mitsubishi cars.

I understand some people do it cause they like the looks and don't try to pass them off, thats okay. Go for it.

Then there are others who do mods to fool other people into thinking they got the "real" deal.

I have JDM 1 piece headlights on my integra because I think they look 10x better than USDM, not because I'm trying to fool people into thinking my car is from Japan. And yes, I'm going to put HONDA emblems on it as well, not because I want to trick people into thinking it's from Japan either. I agree with you about the gay emblems and shit, but people that do conversions aren't silly ricers (most of the time anyways) that buy the super duper cool VTEC emblem for their gay ass DX.

i said SOME people try to fool others into believing the cars really from Japan, i didn't say all people who do it are.

Re: S2000 Tailight Conversions

before i was an integra owner, i never figured out why some acuras had honda emblems. of course i know now.

but the rest of population probably don't know, either.

i've yet to figure out why some people put the acura sign upside down, look like the letter "V", any answers?

lol, I never quite got that one either.

I've got H center caps for the acura wheels, H on my valve cover, and will soon have H on my hatch lid. A lot of people think my car is a honda already, just because it's a fixed up import lol.

Re: S2000 Tailight Conversions

ok, heres what i mean to say 95mugenaccord, so there no confusion. if you like the s2000 conversion, you should go for it, i agree, you will shock people.

just don't try to fool the car behind you, that you got a real S2000 by puting the real S200 emblem. Keep the Honda accord sign, that will shock people, they think,"W.T.F? never seen that on accords."

Re: S2000 Tailight Conversions

thanks for all ur opinions.. and no i am not doin to fool people... jus tryin to get creative....cars are one of my hobbies.. if i bought an s2000 wat is there left for me to do... ive always been in love with accords since my cousin first got one... people make fun of me since i bought one.. there heavy, hondas are slow... and i tell them yea any stock honda is.... but try sayin that to a n/a integ, or a turboed h22,,, lets see whose slow now.. and the reason is, me personally i want to be creative... me myself i have not seen an accord with s2000 tailight conversions.... jus tryin to get creative ... and i will always make sure everyone knows that my ride is an accord...she was manufactured as one and its not my right to simply change her by slappin a mere sticker or emblem... accord till the day she dies...didnt mean to cause up a whole storm... much apologies to those ive offended.

now before you go doing this, picture how these tails will look on your car. Are they the right size, shape, angle, will they look like shit on there? Just a few things to think about.
