replacing the acura stock subwoofer

does anybody know what kind of subwoofer can you use to replace the stock sub in the back dash of a 1999 acura 3.2 tl?

You need to look at subs that are designed for infinite baffle aka free air. Certain companys make subs that will work perfect for that.. Depending on the size you can check out subs from say Image Dynamics and a few others whos subs are suited for that type of application. Most of your name brand subs wont do well in that type of situation. Also you need to look at putting a larger amp on the driver as well
