I have a 1999 Rodeo with 64000 miles. Auto tranny. When I take off from a stop I feel a bump from the rear. It also occurs when I stop after rolling from a speed. The rear shocks are new. There was a bad one and I thought that replacing them would fix it but it did not. Anybody got ideas?

Re: Bumping sound from the rear
The slip yolk needs to be greased. If you search here for clunk or thump you will find more info. Also, I have more info in my FAQ link below.
New front shocks may help some too. -Ryan
