1992 Eclipse GS vs 92 240SX

I don't know which car too get: I can get the Eclipse for 3 grand cheaper, and I hear the 4g63 responds a lot better to bolt ons then the KA24DE does. The 240sx is RWD, although I hear first gen eclipse hug the road damn well for a FWD. I dunno, I'm at a loss at choosing. If it was a second gen eclipse, I would buy the 240 in a heartbeat, because I hear those 420a motors are crap, but the 4g63's are mean ass little engines.

Eclipse get 94 GST but that is rare. basic model suck like stock civic

SR20DET JDM Turbo around 4k , at this point 240sx can kill mustang GT no problem. i haven't heard any stories about eclipse ... there is a guy in Alabama his 240 will take on Mustang Cobra , i actually talk with the friend of the guy who own that crazy 240. i think he sell his 240 for 7k or something , my friend bought 240 91 clean, good paint 1400 from there. Nissan car are just great to mod, mitsubishi is nothing compare even 3000gt or evo .. 240sx good for drift kakakka that why my friend bought the car

I got to hand it to you you're the 1st 240sx nut rider I've seen, usually it's Skylines! However you're correct 240SX is my choice of these 2.

I agree they are great cars and they do look good but let's go with nothing in the world compares to a 240SX for you. Because the same can be said of 5.0 FOX mustangs.

They are versatile, but silly little ricers who watch d0rift0rs y0! at the D1 have ruined the S Chassis Nissan's for life. Might I add that the turbos in the RB26DETT clash with LHD steering columns and won't go in? and it'll fuck the weight distibution completely if it does go in.

stock for stock i'll take the 240 anyday. mod for mod i'll take the 240 anyday. the old first gen dsm's are ugly and they are only worth gettin if they are turboed. the n/a even though its a 4g63 is still not worth boosting beucsae you still have to change the pistons. so in order to make a n/a dsm really fast you need to swap the motor out. so why would you pick an uglier car that has to get the motor swaped out anyways? the 240 also needs a motor swap to be quick ( a 92 KA motor probrably has tons of mile on it and would not be worth boosting ) but atleast you have options and a modded S13 hatchback looks soo much better then the first gen DSM's. also they handle alot better from the get go. along with tons of parts interchangability with other nissans that you can get from the scrap yard so you can get brake and drive train upgrades for a fraction of hte price.

one more thing... no hardcore racing car is FWD...so therefore the Eclipse is just another civic! a RB26DETT in a 240SX will be more for a showcar. evryone knows the best swap for the 240 is the SR20. and maybe the RB25DET if you want to drag race.

and what most people don't know is that if you turbo charge the original motor in the car, it will be faster then a SR. but most people don't know becuase they only read magazines.

like the one in fast and furious . 240 are cheap
stupid cars will fit most off powerful engine ... the look is not bad ...
