My bird won't start

I have a 85 t-bird that I just replaced just about every ignition part there is except for the ignition switch because they rivit these on to the column.

I went to start it the other day and it kept roling over and then wound down. I had to pull the battery to make it stop and when I hooked the bettery back up it tried to start again.

I did some research and found that the ignition switch has a pin on the underside that has two settings, run and stop and I think it's sutck on run.

I hope that replacing the ignition switch will take care of this, it's the only thing left.

Any ideas?
