99 Civic A/C drain hose......

Hello All.

Ok here is my problem.

I just install my new amp and subwoofer for my 99 civic coupe. The power wire from the battery to the amp I run it through a/c drain hole below the dash. I had to take out the a/c drain hose from under the dash and when I put it back the rubber grommet came out (went into the hood hanging on the power wire) I put the the hose in without the grommet. Is it really matters that I look for the grommet and put it back or it should be ok? How bad is this problem?

PS: And if I need the grommet....do I have to put it from inside the car or from the hood side?
