Broken Speedo and brake light

First, thanks to all for the helpful info I've obtained from reading other postings. My problem is a broken speedo on a 91 350 2x4, it stopped working about the same time the brake idiot light came on. I don't know if they occurred at exactly the same time or not (maybe I should check my speed more often) but I did notice the light first. I checked the fuse and it's ok.

Re: Broken Speedo and brake light

Just as a matter of closure. I replaced the TPS and the speedo came back and the brake light is no longer lit. I'm not sure how these were related but all is back to normal so I'm not complaining.
