Re: 2.8 horsepower

im confused, how does the nissan R32 GT-R generate 280hp and and 360Nm off an engine capacity of 2568cc, it's also an inline V6. excuse my ignorance if I'm showing it

well the key difference between the two engines is that the skyline engine is a twin turbo engine...and the reason...because it is meant to the a race car...and it truly is...while the audi is meant to be a luxury sedan...which it is...so thats the reason...and also i dont think there can be such a think as an inline V6...its either an inline 6 or a V6...they refer to how the cylcinders are positioned

Re: 2.8 horsepower

ok, I think I get it... so the audi engine is optimized to find it's torque at lower revs for more power at lower speeds, while the turbos on the nissan mean it only finds power at higher speed and higher revs comprimising low end end power and economy? Pardon my stupidity on the V6 inline confusion

i didnt follow all the low end high end stuff...but basically the audi engine is meant to power an everyday sedan...while the nissan engine is meant to power one heck of a fast race car...the engines are meant for different purposes so they produce different performance...i hope everyones cool with this explanation
