Help with HVAC Blower (dual climate control)
Just a few days ago I noticed that my blower isn't working.
I turn the system on High or Auto and nothing!! I can hear all the servos working in the ducts but.... nothing from the blower. However this morning the blower turned on and worked fine! Then tonight nothing!! Not sure what the problem is! Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance |

Check the wires into the blower motor, at the passenger kickpanel area, two wire lead into what looks like a coke can sticking from the bottom of the a/c heating case, have found several burnt and losing contact.

I had the exact same problem with my 1998 5.9 Limited. Check the connectors under the dash on the passenger side first. Mine was loose, so I clicked it together and now everything is OK. If that dosen't work, try diagnosing the "Blower Motor Resistor Block'.

I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Ltd with the same problem. My blower started cutting in and out sparatically and then has cut out all together. I am not home right now to be able to check out the above solutions, but I was also wondering if there were any other posibilities that I should look into as well.
Thanx in advance,

Problem located
Update:
It was the connection to the Blower motor resistor block. It looks like it got a bit too hot and the plastic around the cannon plug has warped. Now I have to figure out how the heck I am going to get that plug out to replace it. Thanks for all of your help!
