Actual Horsepower vs. fly wheel

Does anybody here know what a 99 WS-6 TA would have? I mean when they say 325 or 330 horsepower, is that at the flywheel or at the rear tires. In other words, a car could be giving off 350 horses but only have 325 at the rear wheels. So 1) how many horses does an actual LS1 engine in a TA give off 2) how many horses are at the rear wheels only

To figure out RWHP for a car you take its hp @ the flywheel and take away 15% for a manual tranny and 20% for an automatic. GM announces their cars hp @ the flywheel not the rear wheels. So to answer your question a 330hp engine...assuming you have a manualy on a WS-6, would have approx. 280 RWHP.

this is true. I made 292rwhp bone stock. I guess I'm in the 344ish range

Dang it! I was hoping they were pushing 330 at the RWs. Oh well. Thanx for the help.
