420A Neon Head, will it work?
hey guys,
I think I made a mistake, but maybe not...I juts want to double check. I purchased a ported head for a neon DOHC 95-99. With the impression that it would work, since they are "the same engine". However, I read somewhere that the head on the neon is put on the opposite way of the Eclipse. Does anyone know if the head will fit, or should I tell the guy not to ship it and get a refund? This btw, if not already obvious is for a 97-99 DOHC 420A powered mitsu eclipse. Thanks a lot guys. - Nathan

nope it will not work seeing how the exhaust ports are on the back of the head and the intake ports are on the front... its the other way around on the eclipse! sorry to say but you bought the wrong head... its for that motor but just backwards! i'm sure it wont be too hard to get rid of, btw is it complete, like cams, valves + springs? if so how much cause i might know someone that would want it!!!
