Fog Lights HELP!!!!!!

ok i have a 94 Trans am and i have had all kinds of problems with the fog lights. First of all i go through more replacement bulbs in a year then most would in a lifetime. Second of all i have had both the driver and passenger sides actully melt the back of the bulb to the holder on teh fog light. anyone else having problems with this. It is getting quite expensive to keep replacing fog light. I went to the trans am nationals last year and was asking around and fould quite of few people with the 94-95 TA's with this same problem...Wandering if maybe there was any kind of recall on this? Any help or suggestions would be great.

Re: Fog Lights HELP!!!!!!

no but would that still pose a problem if they aren't on? i do leave them on when i turn on my brights, i know that might be part of the problem with the bulbs burning out, but not sure why they keep melting.
