Question Tsudo Exhaust

Hey, I had a question... Is the Tsudo N1 style cat back exhaust the same as the Apexi N1 just not Apexi name brand or what? Anyone have any pictures and sound clips of any exhausts because I am looking for one for my 96 gs...thanks

No, I believe the N1 is just the style of the muffler. I have the Tsudo Fireball style muffler and it is very loud. However, I always get compliments on how good it sounds in conjunction with my aem cai.

I've never heard the apexi muffler before, but this Tsudo one sounds quite nice. It's got a sweet low rumble at idle and it doesn't sound like a pissed off bumble-bee when you reach high rpm's (like a lot of mufflers). It comes with a silencer when you buy it, but it doesn't really do much silencing, just makes it sound higher pitched. So I would recommend taking the silencer out since it's useless with this muffler. Oh and I got the cat-back and not just the muffler, fyi. Full stainless steel cat-back for $225, not bad I guess.

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

It comes out the side of the car like the N1 style right?

It comes out exactly where the stock muffler does.. except this one is slightly angled.

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

well you know what I'm saying...It doesn't come out strait back like some exhaust systems...it's "angled"

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

Most aftermarket exhausts are angled. Usually it's very slight angle though, nothing crazy.

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

More angled than 'most' exhausts would be crazy. You can't think of a crazy angle? 45 degrees. 57 degrees, 73 degrees.

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

but I just thought it was either angled or not...I didn't know that there were some that were more angled than others.... What are some that are "crazy" angled?

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

Hehehe.. he means angled as in the muffler coming out of the car and slanted to the side. Not just coming straight back. NOT angled as it how the tip is cut.
