eclipse VS sentra SER

ok my friend has a 2002 nissan sentra SE-R v spec with intake and greddy exhaust and I was wondering how bad I would lose if I have a 97 eclipse gs bone stock and what would it take to get close to him

Well...It also depends on how good/bad a driver you and he is...but let's say your equal...get a good quality cat back....a nice air filter...intake...practice your driving...and you should be good to go

i think the type r has 170hp. its also a really solid engien that can support "alot" of HP. your rs, would get smoked. even with aftermarket induction and exaust.

lol ok what are you talking about cuz it aint my post, I'm talkign about a SE-R not type R that's honda/acura this is a nissan and then my car isn't an rs it's a gs, I still think you're right but you should figure out what the question really asks before you act like you own the thread

Between the rs and gs, the rs should be a little quicker if the drivers are the same. The reason is that they have the same specs and the rs has less features which won't weigh it down as much. So there really isn't much of a reason to jump on that mistake. I'm just clarifying that for ya.

My rs is much lighter than the gs. And i can't say that a type R integra or se-r would smoke a FI eclipse. The FI eclipse puts down more power stg1 than the type R if you have a clue in the world what your doing.
