help!! any help at all!!
4 cyl. grand am. I've had 2 mechanics tell me my engine is "Looping"
Can't find what that means anywhere. Can anybody, anybody at all tell me what the hell "Looping" means or are these guys messing with me.

Looping mean that your car's engine is not maintaining a constant idle speed. So let's say your car is susposed to idle at 600 rpm, instead the engine will go up to 1000 rpm then down to 600 rpm, and it'll continue to go up and down. If your cars engine is idling irratically then, they are correct....

SROOSR Does your GA have the lights next to the shifter telling you what gear your in If it does when you put it in park does the light next to the P light up is it dull or goes on and off Let me know at [email protected]

If this applies to your vehicle. Locate your IAC (Idle Air Control solenoid). Take it out and clean it with a throttle body cleaner and brush. Clean also the inside where the IAC goes in. It is probably gunked up. If not try replacing it.

something in the harness isnt clipped on right or that sensor slade was talking about
