cpi 95 blazer
I just changed the cpi unit in my 95 blazer but i did not change the fuel lines going into the cpi itself. Before closing it up I turned the key forward to pressurize the system and it did not leak. I changed the O rings to the injecter. Does it matter that i did not change these fuel lines??

A failure of the pressure line can fill the crankcase with gas..which can lead to some exciting results (seen that first hand...still looking for parts of that oil pan )I leave that decision to you.

Re: cpi 95 blazer
For now I am going to leave it, seems to be running good. starts better, runs better. if the problem starts again then i will change the lines. Is it possible that the line could be leaking even though i checked it by just just turning the key to pressurize the lines before I closed it up?

Re: cpi 95 blazer
Yes, they could still leak, they get brittle with age and should be replaced with the CPI after 100k.. To remove them, on the outside of the lower intake where the lines come in is a retainer plate. Use a t25 torx bit to remove, disconnect the fuel lines, (depressurize system first) Then they slide out...Installation is reverse...
