S4 vs RS4

In a previous thread NSX-R-SSJ20K said the rs4 is prone to understeer I would have to agree as do almost all 4WD but I have not come across any real info about the RS4 vs. S4. I have come across this problem but have found with a simple lift off and then plant the throttle on the corner exit this problem is removed. This is of course with the TC off.

Now it really does pain me to admit that NSX-R-SSJ20K got me thinking but I do believe that at least one of us should be. I am sure that you will all be able to point me in the right direction of some tech data on why the S4 corners better that the RS4.

Re: S4 vs RS4

what's your question?

understeer?
i doubt that the s4 outhandles the rs4...

as stock cars, they're designed ( as most cars are ) to understeer in extreme cornering.
easier to control, less lawsuits for the manufacturer...

not hard to tune this out of any awd car.
