Re: JDM teg drawing done

if you were going for accuracy to the picture, the front end should be a tad lower. But its totally cool cuz it looks great. The only other thing is that the grille isnt centered.

Great work though!

On the front of the car the bottom is a little squished. Other than that it looks great

Re: JDM teg drawing done

Okay, heres what i see goin on:

The bottom, passenger corner of the windshield is too far back. This causes the angle of the windshield to be steeper, thus the illusion of a higher roofline.

follow?

The fact that the windshield is too far back makes the lineup of the grille and the windshield, which it looks like you did, awkward. What i mean by lineup, is that it looks like you worked out proportions by using points in relation to other points as a visual relation. The points that i am looking at are the points just to the right of the center of the grille, and the bottom corner of the windshield on the passenger side.

Now, if the windshields andle was steeper, thus making it come farther out over the hood, then the point in relation to it on the grille would too be farther to the left, thus evening out the center.

Jeez, thats complicated...

What im trying to say when i say centering, is the the grille needs to be more to the left. The way it is, if you were loooking at the car head on, the grille would be too far to the right.

My two cents...and now I guess im done...

ok, thanks for that long, but good explanation of the centering thing, haha,
and thanks for all the replies

DAMN, the more i look at it, the more problems i see, haha, the main one is the front tho, it should be lower...aw well, i still like it, practice makes perfect, my next one will be better

Shading's perfect Just the proportions that were mentioned above, though I don't think it matters too much!
